Welcome to the VicHealth COVID-19 Victorian Wellbeing Impact Study Thank you for taking part in this important survey. The survey is being conducted by the Social Research Centre, on behalf of VicHealth. The aim of the survey is to understand the impacts of the current August and September COVID-19 restrictions on the health and wellbeing of Victorians. In the current August and September COVID-19 restrictions, Victorians are required to wear a mask when leaving home, and a curfew was enforced in some areas of Victoria. In addition to health and wellbeing, the survey also asks about other topics such as employment and financial circumstances. For those who are parents, the survey also asks questions about your child/children’s health and wellbeing. The survey should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and there are no right or wrong answers. Participation in this survey is voluntary and you can withdraw at any point until the end of fieldwork. The ethical aspects of this research have been approved by the ANU Human Research Ethics Committee (2020/540). Your responses will be de-identified, held in the strictest confidence, as far as the law allows, and will not be disclosed to other organisations for marketing or research purposes. The responses of everyone who participates in this survey will be combined for analysis. If you don’t wish to answer any question, you can choose ‘Prefer not to say’ to move to the next question. The information collected will be treated in strict confidence. Please click ‘Next’ to continue.
